Great video. Yeah, that's about how you do it. I recommend to basically learn to draw maps. I did the layering on my weathered, post-Sarlacc Boba a bit differently, but the process overall was the same.

Hiya buddy. Love your work, would you please clarify which kind of thinner you used to repair the paint bleeds as thinner is kinda a generic term. Was it the enamel thinner that you thin the tinlets with or airbrush thinner or cellulose thinner. I'm sure there is probably more examples but I'm an amateur so clarification would be great please. Thanks.

Is there a benefit to grey primer over white? I'm doing a stormtrooper helmet as well and yours turned out great. Mine is already white primered at the moment.

You should paint a clone trooper helmet because there are so many different ways to paint them.

10:40 a gloss black base cleared with a high gloss clear (ideally a 2k) works as the best base for aclad chromes - at least thats what ive found - looks great as is tho!

That looks incredible, how much Maskol did you use in this project? and did you need to reapply each coat, or could you have just added more on top. Was the re-application more to get the accurate painted areas from reference?
